So many words can be used to describe this artwork, but I'm going to say one just to keep from making a long list: AMAZING! This piece is very unique and has beautiful shading and texture. A simple shade of every-day-black-and-white has turned into something beautiful! The eyes are dark and mysterious; as you can read the soul. The nose--I'm not quite sure about(seems a little wide or bright to me) but I couldn't do better! The lips are perfect and the hair texture is amazing! This is the first critique I have done that has a full 5 stars! Keep up the good work!

Overall, all I can say is wow. I cannot even think of where to begin on this. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this piece and in that all I can do is point out the fine detail of the facial features, the hair and the smaller details of accessories.

The eyes look extremely soulful as if recalling a sadder time and I'm drawn to them because of that. The face itself is triangular and very expressive.

When it comes to the hair, it's so finely drawn I feel like I can almost count individual strands. While it's white like the feathering of the outfit, I can still make out a difference in the two so I know where each begins and the other ends. the accessories also are very detailed to the point that I can make them out and appreciate how well drawn they are.

Your blending technique is very well done.

I gave 5's all across the board because all of them hit the mark and I'd say go beyond even that.

I love this piece.
